Exchange with representatives of University of St. Francis


On 7th December 2016, VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) had a meeting with the delegation of the University of St. Francis and Global Hunter Education to discuss cooperation opportunities between the two sides.

Attending the meeting, there were Mr. Arvid Johnson - President of the University of St. Francis, Mr. William Carroll - President of Hunter Global Education and Ms. Elsie Yuan - Vice President. From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development, MA. Hoang Thi Bao Thoa - Director of the Center for International Training and Education.

On behalf of the UEB, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu sent warm greetings to the delegation. Subsequently, Dr. Thu also introduced to the partner about training, research and exchange activities undertaken by the UEB as well as the outstanding achievements that the University has achieved by means of international cooperation.

Later, Mr. Arvid Johnson and Mr. William Carroll respectively gave introduction on functions and development orientation of their organizations, thereby helping the parties to identify common areas of cooperation and interest.

At the meeting, representatives of the parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation on joint training. Hunter Global Education was established to connect the educational institutions, businesses of the United States and Asia, providing students with the best learning environment while contributing to the internationalization in organizations in the United States and Asia. The parties shared the desire to further exchange information for an early realization of ​​cooperation and implementation of effective activities in the coming period.

The University of St. Francis was established in 1847. The University has four colleges: Arts and Science, Administration and Healthcare Management; Education; Nursing. The university provides training programs from undergraduate to masters. It also ranked among top 15 "most valuable" universities in the Northeast United States by US News and World Report, with more than 40 undergraduate programs and eight graduate programs. US News and World Report also shows that the University has the best online training programs.
